Sangeetha Ramkelawon appointed Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Directors of BCP Bank (Mauritius), a subsidiary of the Pan-African banking group Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP), has approved the appointment of Mrs. Sangeetha Ramkelawon as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director. She succeeds Mr. Abdelwafi Atif, who has been appointed to lead another subsidiary of the Group.

Since 2018, as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BCP Bank (Mauritius), she has contributed to strengthening the bank’s positioning while stimulating its growth with an international dimension. Sangeetha played a key role in the major milestones of the bank’s transformation, particularly during its acquisition by Groupe BCP. Her journey has been marked by her leadership and involvement in developing cross-border activities.

This appointment reflects the ambition of BCP Bank (Mauritius) to strengthen its presence as a leading bank in the region, in line with the strategic objectives of Groupe BCP.
