Africa Day 2025 Celebration: An Immersion into Our African DNA

This year, for Africa Day, BCP Bank (Mauritius) set out to honour to the cultural and economic richness of the African continent. To mark the occasion, we launched the “Dévoilez-nous l’Afrique”, inviting employees to take part - a way to reflect the bank’s belonging to a pan-African group and to express its pride and daily commitment to supporting the continent’s growth.

This initiative was designed to be immersive, creative, and collaborative. The concept: each team was randomly assigned one of the 18 countries where the Group operates, with the mission to recreate, within their workspace, the atmosphere of that country in the most original way possible, and above all, to highlight its economic potential.

The outcome? Workspaces transformed into vibrant scenes of Africa’s diversity. From traditional outfits and colourful decorations to music, flavours, and insightful presentations — each detail reflected thorough research into the country’s cultural and economic identity.

Beyond the competition, this was above all a celebration of the continent itself, brought to life by teams proud of their pan-African identity and strongly connected to Africa’s heritage. Team spirit, commitment, and enthusiasm were at the heart of this initiative.

To round off the celebrations, colleagues gathered for a special lunch featuring the iconic flavours of Africa — a moment of sharing and togetherness.
