  • How to add a new beneficiary online?

    How to proceed?

    • Under the « Transfers » menu, click on « Management of Beneficiaries» to access the page that shows your existing list of beneficiaries and enables the creation and integration of a new beneficiary.
    • All fields must be duly filled in. You can add a new beneficiary, holder of an account with BCP Bank (Mauritius) or with another bank.
    • To confirm the new beneficiary you wish to add to your list, a secure code is sent to you by SMS. This is the key to validate and confirm the operation..
    • Note: Solely subscribers having previously registered their mobile phone number with the Bank can add a new beneficiary online.
  • How to register my mobile phone number and use it to avail myself of new e-banking services?

    Registering your mobile phone number with the Bank is essential as it allows you to add recipient via your e-banking space with a secured code.

    To register your mobile phone number with the Bank, please fill in the form attached and drop it directly with your Relationship Manager.

  • I am being asked for a « key» when trying to add a recipient, holder of an account with BCP Bank (Mauritius). What data should I input?

    The « key » is a bank data composed of 2 digits.  The system will ask it only if you want to add a beneficiary holding an account with BCP Bank (Mauritius).

    You need to key in 00 before you can enter the banking particulars of your beneficiary. 

  • Is the function « Add a Recipient » also available under « company e-Banking profile »?

    No.  This function is strictly reserved to individual clients.

    SME customers have to fill in attached form and drop it directly with your Relationship Manager.

  • Is it possible to bring changes or delete a beneficiary online?
    • Click on the tab « Management of Beneficiaries » under the appropriate menu (either local or international).
    • The list of beneficiaries will appear at the bottom of the page.
    • To delete the selected recipient just click on the trash icon   
    • Click on OK to confirm deletion.

    You cannot bring online changes to a recipient’s particulars.  Please fill in attached form and drop it directly with your Relationship Manager.

  • Is it possible to add a beneficiary who is holder of an overseas bank account?

    Yes. You can add a beneficiary holding an account with a foreign overseas bank (an international bank found outside Mauritian territory).

    How?

    • Go to the « International Transfers » menu.
    • Click on « Management of Beneficiaries » then fill in all the required fields.
    • To confirm the operation you will need to enter the secure code that will be sent to your mobile phone by SMS.

     

  • How many beneficiaries can I list down online?

    You are not limited to the number of beneficiaries you want to register online. You can register as many as you need to.

    You can list down local as well as international beneficiaries.

  • What is an IBAN?

    An IBAN (International Bank Account Number) is the identifying number of your bank account internationally. This data appears on your Bank Identity Statement.

    You must enter your IBAN whenever you want to perform an international transfer.

  • What is a BIC code?

    The BIC (Bank Identifier Code) is the international identifying number of the Bank. Another term for it is the SWIFT code (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication).

    This data appears on your Bank Identity Statement.

    You must enter your BIC whenever you want to perform an international transfer.
